Mount Arthur asbestos remediation
Practical Environmental Solutions (PES) was contracted by civil engineering contractor KCE Civil Pty Ltd, on behalf of BHP Billiton to provide occupational hygiene advice and services to asbestos-contaminated soils on the site of Mount Arthur coal mine at Muswellbrook in the NSW Hunter Valley.
Re-inspection of 36 buildings, Tamworth Hospital
PES was engaged by Hunter New England Local Health District to undertake the five-yearly re-inspection and Asbestos Register update for all of its built infrastructure both on the Tamworth Hospital Campus and other medical service-related buildings owned by it around the city of Tamworth.

Howzat indoor sports centre roof removal, Newcastle
PES was the retained Occupational Hygiene consultant to the project to remove and replace (with Colorbond steel) the asbestos-containing corrugated “Super 6” roof cladding of the Howzat gym in Newcastle (now Genesis).

Cessnock House is in the grounds of the Cessnock Hospital Campus.
